FUNCTIONAL FITNESS PROGRAMMING

The foundation of the program is a monthly, 3 days per week program that's new and different each month - accessible by free Mobile App and an easy-to-use downloadable PDF. (Includes options with and without equipment.) You can complete these workouts at home or in a gym.

VIDEO MOVEMENT LIBRARY

If you're not sure what a movement is, the extensive VIDEO library will guide your way, giving form tips and modifications when needed.

  

COMMUNITY & EMAIL SUPPORT

PROGRAMMING DETAILS

The foundation of the program is 3 days per week, (or used as 12 days per month) of fitness programming every month, accessible by free Mobile App and an easy-to-use downloadable PDF.

  • MOBILITY: Each day starts with a warm up including Mobility (stretching) drills to ensure added strength gains do not limit long term flexibility.
  • STABILITY: Isolated Stability (activation) drills prime our muscles for strength work. These drills alert our neurological system for what's to come, creating a safer environment to develop strength and speed.
  • STRENGTH: The core of this program is to develop strength using a blend of functional movement patterns, bodybuilding principles and golf specific power drills. 
  • BONUSES: a 5 minute on course warm-up, articles on common golf injuries (and solutions), recommendations for "cardio" and much more will be added throughout the life of the program.

WHO IS FULL BODY GOLF FIX FOR?

No matter what level of fitness or golfer, this program can be adapted to meet your needs. There are minimal equipment requirements, and many can be done with bodyweight-only.

I recommend that, if possible, members have at least the following equipment:

  • one set of light to medium weight dumbbells
  • one light to medium weight kettlebell
  • one light and medium resistance strength band

You'll need a way to anchor resistance bands at different levels (like a door anchor, for example). Additional equipment can be handy, but not required. These options are covered in detail within the program.

You can complete these workouts at home or in a gym.

  • There's an option for you to meet you where you are.
  • Scaling and modifications are available with every workout as I've programmed with a broad range of skill and training levels in mind.
  • Suggestions are given for different ability levels, equipment available, and modifications within each movement.

I'm Dr. Scott Mills, and in addition to being hopelessly obsessed with golf, I am a Sports Chiropractor with over 20 years of experience working with athletes of all levels.

I'm certified as a Level 3 Titleist Performance Institute Medical Provider and have been coaching functional fitness as a CrossFit coach for more than 7 years.

I have a Masters Degree in Exercise Science and spent 6 years in collegiate settings as a Certified Athletic Trainer prior to my chiropractic career.

I've worked with athletes of all skill levels, from beginner to competitive, to help them move and perform better.
